Club Voyage Torba Hotel, Bodrum, Turkey
Irwin Mitchell is eager to speak to holidaymakers who have recently returned from the Club Voyage Torba Hotel after many guests have returned suffering from symptoms of gastric illness. Complaints follow holidays taken at the hotel in October 2010.
Reports have indicated that visiting the hotel's restaurant was more like visiting a cat conservation centre as the place was littered with the ill looking felines. It has also been said that the food provided at the hotel was of a poor standard and that it was often served cold. It is possibly due to these poor standards that holidaymakers have contracted such symptoms of illness. One holidaymaker returned from the hotel suffering from chronic sickness and diarrhoea. She was hospitalised for a number of days after she was confirmed to have contracted Campylobacter infection, an extremely harsh form of food poisoning which can be highly debilitating.
Other complaints have been alleged which relate to the poor maintenance of the hotel. The family rooms have been described as tiny and not fit for purpose.
