Concern For Holidaymakers In Turkey

Thousands of holidaymakers travel to Turkey yearly with hopes of having an unforgettable holiday, but unfortunately their holidays become unforgettable for all the wrong reasons. Holidaymakers have often complained to Irwin Mitchell about the standard of hotels or rude and dismissive holiday workers.

Irwin Mitchell have received hundreds complaints about food including uncooked meat, food being re-heated and served on more then one occasion, food which should be served piping hot being lukewarm and new food being stacked on old food.  Other regular complaints by holidaymakers include littered swimming pools which are not regularly cleaned and often have faeces floating in them, and holidaymakers seeing birds, cats, ants and wasps around the dining areas. Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by clients who suffered illnesses such as Salmonella, Cryptosporidium and other gastric illnesses, including over 500 clients who fell ill at the Holiday Village resort in Sarigerme in 2009.
