Gastric Illness In Turkey Resort
Irwin Mitchell are concerned to learn of reports of illness at the Mares Hotel, Grand Yazici, Turkey during holidays taken in June and July 2013.
Some holidaymakers have reported suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea and stomach cramps resulting in a period of hospital admission in Turkey. The holidaymakers sought medical attention from their GP after their return home. The reports suggest at least one holidaymaker has been diagnosed with Salmonella poisoning and another with a very bad case of gastroenteritis. The holidaymakers have mentioned that in light of their illness they were largely confined to the hotel resort with one holidaymaker spending a number of days in hospital meaning they were unable to take full advantage of the hotel facilities.
Despite some positive reviews, the holidaymakers were concerned that some of the hot food was only warm, some food appeared to be cold and some food also appeared undercooked.
If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, we would like to hear from you.
