Green Anatolia Hotel, 2014
Specialist international personal injury lawyers at Irwin Mitchell have been contacted by a family following their two week stay at the Green Anatolia Hotel, Turkey, in July 2014.
The holidaymakers travelled to the hotel in Turkey to celebrate a birthday but half way through their stay the child began to experience symptoms of gastric illness, including severe diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach pain, nausea, sweats and a fever.
The guests reported that they noticed a lot of the food severed at the all-inclusive resort was often undercooked and regularly of poor quality. They stated that dishes were frequently left uncovered at meal times which led to flies landing on the food plus were often served too cold.
Concerns were also raised relating to the standard of the rooms. The holidaymakers said that the rooms were very basic without many of the standard features you’d expect, including a kettle and hair dryer. The tourists also suggested that other guests were also ill at the resort and that any complaints that were made were usually met with rudeness and hostility from the staff.
If you have also travelled to the Green Anatolia Hotel in Turkey and subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness, or sustained an injury, we would like to hear from you.
