Holiday Village, Turkey 2013

Irwin Mitchell are concerned to hear from holidaymakers who report falling ill during their stay at the Holiday Village, in Sarigerme, Turkey during June, August and September 2013.

Since 2005 Irwin Mitchell has acted for over 1,200 holidaymakers whose holidays at the Holiday Village were ruined by illness.

Irwin Mitchell has recently secured awards of up to £25,000 each for almost 600 holidaymakers after their holidays in the summer of 2009 were ruined by an outbreak of severe gastric illness at the hotel. Over 400 of the holidaymakers suffered severe gastric illness with over 100 suffering from severe infections such as Salmonella, Cryptosporidium, Campylobacter and E-Coli.

Some reports from holidaymakers in relation to holidays taken in June, August and September 2013 have suggested that some holidaymakers had to be hospitalised whilst abroad due to the symptoms suffered. In particular Irwin Mitchell have been contacted by holidaymakers who advised one of the family members was hospitalised whilst in Turkey from the symptoms they were suffering from. Despite a number of positive reviews, some holidaymakers have also reported that some food was served uncovered and some food was undercooked or cold.

The International Travel Litigation Group at Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at the Holiday Village Turkey, particularly given the hotel's history.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
