Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have recently holidayed at the all inclusive Grand Pasa Hotel in Turkey. It has been reported that guests who stayed at the resort have been suffering from symptoms of gastric illness believed to be food poisoning related.
One holidaymaker has reported how the food was the same almost everyday and food temperature monitoring procedures was insufficient. It is also reported that the drinks appeared to be watered down. It is a possibility that due to a breakdown in food hygiene and handling procedures, that holidaymakers may have contracted food poisoning from the food they consumed at the hotel.
Worryingly, Irwin Mitchell received reports of illness and were subsequently instructed by several clients who holidayed at this hotel in 2008.
This calls into question the health and hygiene practices at hotels and raises concerns about the adequacy of their cleaning practices.
