Litera Marmaris Deluxe

It has been reported that holiday makers have become ill with symptoms of gastric illness after staying at the Litera Marmaris Deluxe in Turkey in October 2009.

Guests have reportedly become ill with symptoms of gastric illness, campylobacter and ecoli possibly due to poor standards of hygiene at the hotel. Guests claim that items served in the buffet area in particular eggs and chicken were undercooked, many of the buffet dishes were reheated and salad was reserved. Guests allege that there were many insects on and around the food. The hygiene standards were reportedly poor and the restaurant area was dirty.
