Magnific Hotel, Gumbet
Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers after we have received reports of gastric illness amongst holidaymakers who are returning from the Magnific Hotel, located in Gumbet, Turkey during August 2010.
Reports suggest that holidaymakers have become ill with suspected food poisoning, possibly as a result of poor food hygiene standards and issues with the quality of food consumed at the hotel. It has been reported that the food served at the hotel is served only warm at best, unlabelled and lacking in variety. It has also been suggested that the restaurant is dirty.
Report suggested that a number of holidaymakers have been affected with the same symptoms.
Other complaints report that the hotel rooms are dark and dingy.
