Irwin Mitchell has been instructed by a holidaymaker who has suffered illness during an all inclusive holiday at the Marti La Perla Hotel in Icmeler, Turkey during June 2013. Their holiday was booked with Thomson.
The holidaymaker suffered a very unpleasant gastric illness early on in her holiday. After her second day of being ill, she was rushed to the local hospital in an ambulance, where she was admitted overnight. She was extremely dehydrated and remained ill for the rest of the holiday.
On her return to the UK, she was admitted to hospital on two further occasions as she has also suffered from a kidney infection and unfortunately has not yet made a full recovery.
Despite some positive reviews, recent reports from another holidaymaker, who stayed at the hotel this summer, described the food at the hotel as “mediocre at best” and others felt that the food could have been served hotter.
