Myra Hotel, Marmaris, Turkey
Irwin Mitchell is worried for holidaymakers who have recently returned from or are due to holiday at the Myra Hotel in Marmaris, Turkey, after receiving reports of holidaymakers suffering from symptoms of gastric illness after their holidays in August 2011.
It is reported by one holidaymaker that a mother and baby had to share a single bed for the first night of the holiday after the hotel had allocated rooms incorrectly. It has also been suggested that air conditioning unit was included as part of the price, as advertised, and that the complex was not suitable for young families.
It has also been reported that the food provided at the hotel was "absolutely disgusting". It has been suggested that an 8 month old baby contracted Salmonella food poisoning, possibly from the food consumed at the hotel and due to a possible breakdown in food handling and hygiene procedures.
If you also travelled to this hotel and suffered from gastric illness, Irwin Mitchell would like to hear from you as you may be able to claim for your ruined holiday, and also, the pain and suffering caused by the illness that you sustained.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
