Pegasos Royal Hotel, Turkey

We're concerned to learn about guests falling ill with gastric symptoms while on holiday at the Pegasos Royal Hotel, Turkey in August 2016.

During their stay at the hotel, the holidaymakers began to experience symptoms of gastric illness including severe diarrhoea and vomiting. On their return home, our clients continued to suffer with gastric illness and were later diagnosed with Cryptosporidium after seeking medical treatment from their GP. The holidaymakers have complained that during their holiday, the swimming pool was closed for unknown reasons but believed it to be because of vomit in the pool.

Jatinder Paul, an Associate Solicitor and specialist in International Personal Injury cases at Irwin Mitchell, said “We are concerned to hear reports of illness at the Pegasos Royal Hotel, Turkey. Unfortunately for these holidaymakers, their holiday was ruined as a result of the illness and will now be remembered for all the wrong reasons. We will now be conducting our own investigations as to the cause of our clients’ illness”.

If you also travelled to Pegasos Royal Hotel in Turkey and subsequently suffered symptoms of illness, we'd like to hear from you. We specialise in dealing with cases of this nature and could help you claim compensation.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
