We're concerned to learn about guests falling ill with gastric symptoms while on holiday at the Pink Palace Hotel in Turkey between July and August 2016.
Irwin Mitchell’s specialist International Personal Injury lawyers have been contacted by a holidaymaker who suffered gastrointestinal illness following their stay at the Hotel in Hisaronu, Turkey. Their symptoms included diarrhoea, abdominal pains, fever and vomiting.
The holidaymaker noticed that some of the food served in the hotel restaurant appeared to have been uncovered for periods of time. They also complained that hot food was at times not served at the correct temperature.
The holidaymaker was concerned that food served in the restaurant appeared to have been undercooked on occasions, for example the chicken. The holidaymaker also reported that food appeared at times to have been served on more than one occasion and that new food was sometimes added to existing food. They also observed insects and flies on and around the food.
Gastric symptoms can range from mild diarrhoea to abdominal cramps and blood in stools.
