Poseidon Club Hotel, Turkish Aegean Coast

Irwin Mitchell is concerned for holidaymakers who have recently holidayed at or are due to holiday at the Poseidon Club Hotel, located along Turkish Aegean Coast, in Turkey, after receiving reports of illness amongst holidaymakers during their holidays in June 2011.

It has been suggested by reports that holidaymakers have fallen ill, possibly as a result of a lack of hygiene standards and food handling procedures practiced at the hotel. One holidaymaker has reported how the sausages appeared to have been reheated over a number of days and that the food did not appear to be very appetising.

The holidaymaker recalls how he allegedly woke at 5am in the morning suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea and sickness. He attempted to seek help from reception but was unable to locate anyone, he therefore knocked on a neighbouring guest's door, following which, he collapsed, possibly due to severe hydration. He recalls how he woke up in the local hospital on several drips.
