Illness Outbreak At Butlins Bognor Regis For Fourth Time

Irwin Mitchell’s leading travel litigation team have been contacted by holidaymakers who fell ill following holidays taken at the Butlin’s Bognor Regis resort in June 2014.

The guests have returned from their week’s break at the resort complaining of suffering from symptoms including diarrhoea, stomach cramps and vomiting.

Irwin Mitchell already act for over 200 holidaymakers in respect of claims following their holidays to Butlins in Bognor Regis in 2011. These holidaymakers raised concerns in relation to some food being served undercooked and left uncovered and on some occasions hot food being mixed with existing food.

Irwin Mitchell also act for 14 clients who stayed at the resort 2012 and 23 clients who stayed at the resort in 2013.

Despite some positive reviews, some holidaymakers who travelled to the resort in 2014 have reported that some food was served undercooked and that the food utensils were often dirty.
