Sea View Holiday Village, Cornwall
Irwin Mitchell has been contacted by holidaymakers who travelled to the Sea View Holiday Village in Polperro, Cornwall in April 2014 and have reported suffering from illness.
Their symptoms include chesty coughs, rashes, sickness and lethargy. One such holidaymaker has detailed a worsening in her asthma since the holiday. Despite some positive reviews, some families have complained about damp walls, floors and beds, as well as the poor heating facilities. Others have complained about the poorly heated showers.
One family said that the indoor pool at the resort was on occasion poorly heated and that the outdoor pool which was situated next to the children’s play area appeared to be filled with stagnant water and an algae-like substance. Another family say that they complained to reception about the temperature in their accommodation and a charge was levied for electricity. After speaking to reception to raise their concerns, they were asked to leave the complex.
If you also travelled to this resort and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
