The International Travel Litigation Team at Irwin Mitchell is concerned to read a report of a guest suffering from food poisoning at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida during April 2012.
Reports suggest that a guest at the hotel had suffered from food poisoning after eating a buffet breakfast at this hotel, this resulted in the guest suffering with the gastric illness. Consequently the hotel denied responsibility for the food poisoning but offered the guest free meals at the restaurant which were duly declined. It is possible that the illness is as a result of the breakdown of health and hygiene practices at the hotel.
Further complaints suggest that guests and visitors at the hotel can be rather noisy which in one instance resulted in holidaymakers checking out of the hotel and another guest advising others to pack earplugs. It has also been reported that the hotel charge additional charges and a receptionist attempted to charge one guest $240 in parking charges even though they did not bring a car.
