British Tourist Injured Following Accident in Lanzarote

We are acting on behalf of a British tourist who was injured whilst skiing in Kaprun, Austria in January 2010.

Our client is a very experienced skier and was skiing down a marked piste with his wife when a snowboarder cut across his wife’s path and collided with our client from behind.

Our client was knocked to the ground and suffered a ruptured tendon in his knee.  He was airlifted to hospital and underwent surgery the following day.

He spent 5 days in hospital in Austria and then returned home to England where he also had further surgery in February 2010.

We were instructed in February 2010 to pursue a claim against the insurers of the snowboarder in Austria.  We have submitted the claim to the insurers and if a positive response is not received, we will have to take court action on behalf of our client.
