£2000 – Burns Suffered In Hairdryer Accident In Cuba

Irwin Mitchell represented Mrs Morris from Birmingham after an accident she suffered in Cuba on the 11 October 2012.

Mrs Morris was getting ready to go for dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant, she had washed her hair and proceeded to use the hotel’s hairdryer. As she started to dry her hair she received a sudden shock, following which the hair dryer blew up in her hand, causing a burn to her wrist.

As a result of the accident Mrs Morris suffered a burn and subsequent scarring to her wrist.

Irwin Mitchell pursued a claim against the Tour Operator and successfully recovered £2,000 for Mrs Morris.
