200 Holidaymakers receive £1.1million for ruined JMC Holidays
We fought for compensation for 200 holidaymakers whose JMC holidays were ruined because of illness. They stayed at seven different hotels in the Dominican Republic, Turkey, Ibiza and Portugal in 2003.
164 of the holidaymakers became ill from poor food hygiene and in some cases, dirty swimming pools. They suffered from sickness and diarrhoea and some are still continuing to suffer from long term symptoms.
We succeeded in recovering £1.1 million in compensation for our clients and JMC admitted that they were liable for every claim. £249,000 was the highest award for the most seriously ill of our clients.
