Occidental Grand, Punta Cana, 2013

Irwin Mitchell’s leading International Travel Litigation Group has received reports that holidaymakers staying at the Occidental Grand Punta Cana in Dominican Republic have  suffered from illness on holiday and have complained about the food being served at the hotel.

Despite some positive reviews, one holidaymaker reported that some of  the meat served was undercooked and cold. Other holidaymakers reported that the food was “absolutely horrible”.

Some holidaymakers have also raised concerns over the toilets in their rooms not flushing, outdated facilities, poor quality furniture and bad customer service. One holidaymaker reported their bathroom had cockroaches and ants in it.

Irwin Mitchell has successfully recovered compensation for 3 Claimants who suffered from illness in 2003 and 7 Claimants who suffered from illness in 2007 after staying at this hotel.

If you have travelled to the Occidental Grand Punta Cana in Dominican Republic and subsequently suffered from symptoms of illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.
