Movenpick Resort, Taba Hotel, Taba, Egypt - March / April 2010

The Movenpick resort is a popular holiday destination for sun seekers and this five star hotel is often a favourite, providing accommodation on an all inclusive basis.
It is reported that dozens of British holidaymakers became ill, possibly due to the poor food standards and conditions at the hotel. Allegations include food being undercooked and left uncovered where it could be contaminated by flies and other insects, as well as poor control of food temperatures. 

Holidaymakers have complained of suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps, common symptoms of food poisoning and legal action is likely to follow.

Irwin Mitchell are also currently acting on behalf of approximately 30 clients who contracted similar symptoms of illness following their holidays at the Movenpick hotel in 2009.
