Sol Sharm, Sharm el Sheikh

Irwin Mitchell has concerns for holidaymakers who travelled to the Sol Sharm resort in Egypt in August 2010 after a client returned from there and informed us he had suffered severe gastric illness symptoms which required further medical attention on return to the UK.

Reports suggest that our client became ill as a result of poor food standards at the hotel mainly that hot food was not served to temperature. Further reports suggest that the squid was not cooked through properly.

Our client tested positive for Salmonella despite being told that his illness was ''Cleopatra's Curse'' by his tour operator.

As such Irwin Mitchell are now investigating a claim against the tour operator.

The Sol Sharm Hotel has a history of problems and Irwin Mitchell are also acting for holidaymakers who contracted gastric problems as a result of their stay at the Hotel in the Summer of 2008 with UK Tour Operator Thomas Cook Tour Operations limited.
