The Grand Sharm El Sheikh Hotel, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, July 2012

Expert travel litigation lawyers at Irwin Mitchell have been instructed by a couple returning from the Grand Sharm El Sheikh Hotel in Egypt in July 2012 suffering with severe gastric illness.
The couple fell ill with gastric symptoms within the first week of their holiday and were unable to enjoy the facilities offered by the hotel. Our clients’ complaints included insects being seen in the restaurant, food served repetitively and the swimming pool being “filthy”. The couple have also informed Irwin Mitchell that several other holidaymakers who stayed at this Hotel at the same time also suffered similar severe illnesses.
Irwin Mitchell represent a number of British holidaymakers every year who travel abroad and become severely ill with sickness and diarrhoea during their stay, including many cases arising from holidays in Egypt. If you also travelled to the Grand Sharm El Sheikh Hotel and have subsequently suffered from symptoms of gastric illness or sustained an injury, Irwin Mitchell, who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature, would like to hear from you.

For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
