Salmonella Poisoning Contracted at Hotel

Client A and client B were on holiday at the Rodos Madris Hotel in Rhodes when client A fell ill during the second week of their holiday. Fortunately Client B did not fall ill.

Client A fell ill with gastric illness, suffering from symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pain and subsequently was diagnosed with salmonella poisoning.

Liability was admitted subject to proof of the cause of their illness. Medical evidence was obtained which supported Client A’s claim.

Irwin Mitchell subsequently settled the claims, with the couple receiving over £8,000 in compensation.
