Illness at the Houria Palace Hotel, Port El Kantouri

Irwin Mitchell has been approached to act for holidaymakers who travelled to the Houria Palace Hotel, Port El Kantouri, Tunisia in June 2010.

The holidaymakers fell ill with gastric illness ands after an emergency visit to their GP, one of them was diagnosed as suffering salmonella food poisoning.  They were off work for several weeks after their holiday due to the severity of their symptoms.

Our clients have said that several times they saw burgers that were still raw in the middle and eggs were served which were only partially cooked.  Stray cats were allowed to wander through the dining area.

If you or your family have been affected by gastric illness following a stay at the Houria Palace Hotel, you may be able to claim compensation for your ruined holiday and also the pain and suffering caused by the illness.  For more advice on making a holiday illness claim, contact us on 0800 056 0066 or complete our enquiry form and we will call you back.
