Irwin Mitchell has been approached to act for a holidaymaker who travelled to the Mechmoum Hotel in Tunisia in April 2014, who fell ill with gastric illness.

The holidaymaker had travelled to the hotel for their annual holiday. However, during the holiday they fell ill, suffering from diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps. The holidaymaker reports that they are still ill upon return home and they had to attend upon their gp as a result of their ongoing symptoms.

Despite a number of positive reviews the holidaymaker reports that on occasions food was served undercooked and cold. She also described how some meat dishes were pink and raw.
