Legal 500 (2016)

Irwin Mitchell has been approached by holidaymakers to investigate potential claims against Thomas Cook after staying at Lykia World in Turkey during April 2011. Irwin Mitchell is alarmed for holidaymakers after learning of such incidents of personal injury at the Lykia World, Turkey.

Irwin Mitchell is currently acting for over 100 clients who had stayed at the Lykia World, Turkey in 2010 who have turned to the International Travel Litigation team to act on their behalf after suffering from gastric symptoms.

It has previously been reported that holidaymakers suffered unpleasant gastric illness including symptoms of diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach cramps and fever.  Some holidaymakers commented on the poor food hygiene standards at the hotel, which included food being served uncovered, food served undercooked and food sometimes appearing to be reheated. Further complaints included food being re-served on more than one occasion and the presence of birds, cats, ants and wasps in the dining area.

The International Travel Litigation team at Irwin Mitchell who specialise in dealing with cases of such nature would like to hear from you if you have suffered from gastric illness after staying at this hotel.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
