Motorcycling Accident in France

Whilst on a motorcycling holiday in France, our client was seriously injured when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle.

The collision was so severe that the client’s motorcycle and his motorcycling equipment were very badly damaged.

Our client sustained a serious fracture to his ankle which resulted in his being off work for a period of some five months.

Liability was strongly contested by the Defendant and court proceedings had to be issued in France. Following a hearing, the Defendant driver was found fully to blame for the accident and was also fined by the French Court for his careless driving. Our client was awarded compensation in excess of €65,000 (approximately £53,632) for his injuries, loss of earnings and damaged motorcycle and equipment.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
