Claim for Spanish Tourist in London
On 19 May 2006 at approximately 2.10am, Miss Sofia Siveroni (a Spanish National), had just arrived in London with her friend for a short holiday. As they were crossing Royal College Street, London, Miss Siveroni was struck and thrown to the ground by a motor car.
As Miss Siveroni is a Spanish-speaker, this case was dealt with by Spanish-speaking lawyers in our London office. This meant that Irwin Mitchell were able to discuss the case with the client in her own language, whilst providing her with clear advice on English personal injury law.
As a result of the accident, Miss Siveroni sustained a fracture to the right arm, abrasions and soft tissue injuries to the top of the right leg, and abrasions to the right knee.
Throughout the case, the Defendant continued to deny liability. This was on the basis that the accident was our client’s fault. This meant that the case almost went to trial, however we were able to secure substantial compensation for the client which she was very happy with.
