Skiing Accident in France

£9,625 recovered following ski accident in France

Our client collided with another skier, as two pistes merged.  Our client fractured her arm and wrist and was unable to work fully for 45 days and then had to adjust her work for another 2 months before returning to full duties. She has now a small scar that is still noticeable and has a lost a degree of mobility in her wrist.

It was agreed with both parties that due to the nature of the accident, the difficulty in establishing liability and the seriousness of both parties’ injuries, each insurer would settle the claims fully, instead of agreeing on a share liability.

Our client has received the equivalent of £9,625 for her Personal Injury claim, her lost earnings and loss of holidays.

"We were very happy with the outcome of our case, especially as we were initially offered nothing from the Tour Operator. Irwin Mitchell were very professional throughout and we are very happy with the outcome."
